At Reeds Brook, we have a number of after school clubs available to students on a drop in basis.
Students who wish to participate are able to take the late buses home as clubs usually end at 3pm.

RPG Club
We are a club that plays roleplaying games, such as Dungeons and Dragons. Students will be able to take the late bus home.
Drama Club It's your time to SHINE! Join us to prepare a full length play on the RBMS stage. We need actors, stage hands, costumers, everything it takes to get a production going!

Rock Band. The musical group meets before school as a co-curricular offering in conjunction with Band.
Yearbook Club Students help supply and organize photographs and content for the yearbook as well as promote the sale of this memento.
Library Club Students assist with library organization and displays, re-shelving books, and other library tasks.
Manga Club Students meet weekly to discuss, read nd draw Japanese manga and anime.
Math Team Students compete in the EMML competitions during the fall, winter and spring math meets.
Jazz Band The group is a co-curricular music offering that rehearses before school and prepares a fun and challenging program of jazz/rock/Latin music to bring to district and state music festivals.
Show Choir The group is a co-curricular offering that rehearses before school and prepares a fun program of music for students to sing and dance to at district and state music festivals.
Homework Club
We are starting a homework club here at Reeds Brook Middle School. Students from Hampden Academy’s National Honors Society will be acting as helpers to provide informal support and help to the RBMS students. Students who stay after for homework club can take the late bus home. Students will be asked to commit to attending each week and to bring homework with them for completion during this time. This club is a great opportunity for students to get their work done after school.

Civil Rights Club
The Civil Rights Team is made up of 6th, 7th and 8th grade students and lead by Mrs. Field and Mrs. Freeman. The mission of the Civil Rights Team Project, which is run by the Maine office of the Attorney General, is to increase the safety of elementary, middle and high schools across Maine by reducing bias motivated behaviors and harassment in schools. As a member of the Civil Rights Team at Reeds Brook, students help our school to think and talk about issues related to race and skin color, national origin and ancestry, religion, disabilities, gender (including gender identity and expression) and sexual orientation.

Chess Club
Under the guidance of Mr. Bishop and Mr. Haggan, the Chess Club is open to all. If you haven't played before, we will teach you. We can help anyone improve their game, compete and advance their skills. .

Art Club
Explore projects beyond art class. Students are encouraged to stop in the art room any week and see what the current project is. Students will be introduced to different styles, mediums and techniques through a variety of hands-on projects -Come join us!

Technology / RC Club
Get your Geek on with Tech Club! If you want a place to do some coding, program robots, Create 3D models, explore Virtual Reality or just play some appropriate games with friends, come hang out in Tech Club Mondays right after school in room 209 with Mr. Beckwith.
